Sergio Fermariello, 40, a politically active artist, grandson of the first Naples post-war mayor, among whose accomplishments can be counted the reconstruction of the Teatro San Carlo (San Carlo Theatre). Sergio lives in a 16-century villa in the elite district of Belvedere. His conception of the link between art and politics is based on the idea of polis. He played an active role in the construction of the largest infrastructural project in Naples, the underground. Its stops are literally a gallery of modern arts, which Naples does not have.
