Since 19 of November the Atlantic sea is still washing ashore oil from sunken single-hulled tanker Prestige. Twelve weeks after the oil spill the environmental and social disaster is going on - Galician coast is blackened, life in predominantly fishing cities and villages is violently interrupted and oil spots are threatening now north Spanish regions coast now French coast.

In that time fishermen and women, harvesting shellfish, become state officials and oil cleaning became a good paid employment opportunity.

There is a lack of transparency and state information about the impact and consequences of the oil spill, and government sustain people should coexist with oil. At a short term in Galicia an apparent happiness is reigning. Human solidarity is in full bloom.
